Friends...

Friends are important in our life. They provide community and fellowship. When we have community people began to understand and know who you really are.

I received a couple emails from my Chinese friends and they are now beginning their semester of school. They said that they miss seeing us around campus and spending time with us! To me this is absolutely gut wrenching...my heart is with my friends and I am committed to continue to pray for them and that they will come in know their Savior. I want with all that is within me for them to know the peace, hope, joy and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

It is reality that people need Jesus and more than we can imagine have never heard the Gospel. My hearts cry is for the nations to know His name and for Him to be glorified in all the earth!!

Hey guys,

Well, I got back to the States early last Thursday morning, July 3. Since then I have been adjusting back to Western time and still a little bit jet lagged. It has almost been a culture shock returning to the States and just experiencing everyday life. It is so different in China and that is what I have been use to so it definately is a transition.

Stories are endless that I can share with everyone. The bottom line is God is working in a mighty and powerful way in China and among the people. They need to hear the Truth and we have it! It is a dark place and many have never heard the Name of Jesus. It was amazing to see how God opened doors for us to be able to speak His name to our friends and people in our city.

My heart is burdened for the people of China. I long to see them come to know the Lord. My prayer is that God would overwhelm the country of China and millions of people would come to know our Savior.

God is still working just as much as two thousand years ago. He is still mighty to save. His Name crosses all cultures and all bounds. The Name of Jesus still brings hope, joy and truth into the lives of people all over the World.

China Week 2

It has been a great week here! Time is flying and there is much to be done! We have made some friends and just waiting for opportunities to share with them!

China Week 1

Hey guys!

Hope this finds all of you well!
I have been here since last Wednesday and things are going great! I love the city, the people and the culture! We have made some new friends and had dinner with them last night. They are really nice and we desperately want to share about the Father with them!

Here is some things to be lifting up:
We start class tomorrow. (Monday)
Help with learning the language.
Our new friends and opportunities to share about the Father.
Make more friends
Some neighbors questioning why we are here. (We are having to be very careful)

I am going to try and update weekly! Thanks for thinking of me!!

This city really needs to hear the Truth. I see it on their faces when I walk down the street! They are searching for the Truth that we have, they just need someone to share it with them!
We need to be very bold. Please be lifting up any time you think of me!

The Time is Drawing Near

Well, two days! Wow! I just have to do those last minute things like packing, seeing family and friends, and making sure I don't forget anything!!

This has been a sweet journey from the Father. He has taught me many things and root of them is always He is faithful. No matter what. I am excited for the journey ahead.

Oh What a Day that Will Be!

Have you ever stopped and thought what it will be like to see J*sus face to face one of these days? Have you ever wondered what you are going to do? Like the song says, I can only imagine!

To see my Father face to face is going to be a glorious day. I am excited to see the One who's love compels me to go, give and PR for others. My close friend, Emily got married just yesterday and we discuss right before she walked down the aisle if she was this excited now, how excited is she going to be when she meets the King? We both know and talked about that excitement and how it is going to be far greater than anything else we can imagine. That day time will stand still and nothing else will matter! The little things won't get in the way, because the Father surpasses them all!

I am excited for the future, but have lots to do before that amazing day arrives!

This is the Beginning...

Hello to Anyone Who Reads This:

WOW!! I have made it to the first official day of summer. As my room is now in boxes, it is setting in that I am moving and leaving for East Asia in two weeks! With finals behind me, I can focus on what is to come. To say I am excited is probably a huge understatement. I am ready to see what the Father is going to do with my summer.

This blog is just going to be my thoughts about what is going on and how you can PR for me. I hope to be able to update atleast weekly while I am gone and after I am back share many stories about the goodness of the Father.

Right now, you can be PRing for the rest of my support to be in soon! The Father has provided so graciously already!! I have been blown away. He is faithful. Please also PR for my team as we head into the final stretch of time before our trip. I am excited to meet all of them and see what the Father has in store for us. Above all, may He be glorified!!
